STORY

Before the Diamond Authority, there was only one ruler overseeing the gem empire, White Diamond. In hopes of expanding the empire White Diamond directed a series of experiments incubating new diamonds. Two of the diamonds to emerge from these tests were Galaxy and Olive Diamond.

They both had their unique talents; Olive with an aura of intense paranoia and Galaxy able to levitate objects at will. The two (and newly gifted pearls) formed a strong bond with their time on Homeworld. However, the tests were considered a catastrophic failure and abandoned immediately. They were off-colored, unfit to rule. Nearly all trace of the experiment was wiped from the records. When success finally struck, the Great Diamond Authority was born.

Around 6,000 years ago, whispers of Pink Diamond's supposed shattering spread across the empire. Galaxy and Olive caught word of the new developments and devised a plan. Disguised as lower-class gems, they hijacked one of Homeworld's armada fleet ships. They left their past behind them and began work housing their new court......

One for any off-colored, defective, or imperfect gem in need of a hope to take salvation aboard...
The outcast court.

THE GALAXIVE

Stolen from the heart of Homeworld, this is where the court resides.

Each gem has designated living quarters, separated between quarter blocks A, B, and C. Where a gem lives is usually chosen based on what location benefits their role the most. Two gems of the same rank could be on opposite sides of the ship dependent on what they decide.

The conference room is where business discussions within the court are held. The assembly hall is for personal announcements or other gatherings. The evacuation deck holds escape pods in case of an emergency. Maintenance locations include the engine room, parts and services, and repair bay.

The labs and medical wing are where the scientists and doctors carry out their duties. Aside from them is the training deck, primarily used by soldiers. There are also the shops, recreation chamber(pool/sauna), and cargo bay.

At the end hallways(in the middle of the ship) is the entrance to the ship's outer extension, the ring. It is known as a source of power for the Galaxive. This leaves unauthorized personnel forbidden to enter.

FOCUS

Our aspiration for the group is to inspire creativity and bring artists together under an overarching plotline. Like most Steven Universe-related court groups, our story is divided into quests, which are major events in the plot that change the course of the story. There are also other, less serious prompts the characters you make are able to respond to. Side stories and character development are encouraged aspects of the group.

Outcast Court's timeline takes place in Season 1 of the original show. Having background context from the show will help you understand the themes and in-universe rules, but is not required. The main premise is that you are a gem who has been "outcasted" from gem society for some reason or another. You then encounter the Outcast Court, learning from the experiences of other gems. The Outcast Court is split in rule by two diamonds, one of which your character can choose to follow.

WARNING:
Later down the line there may be unsettling content related to the process of "shattering," a gem's form of death. While later on in the show we see gems can recover from shattering and corruption, that is not the case for the Outcast Court because they are separate from the Steven Universe plot until much later. We would like you to keep this in mind before joining. Your gems will be unharmed unless you choose for them to befall an unfortunate fate. However, the characters played by the Admins may be shattered, bubbled, or undergoing temporary or permanent illnesses. We will be handling these topics as respectfully as possible, but we understand if this is a turn-off. You are free to have lighthearted stories in the group, but misfortune is planned to be seeded as the plot thickens.
